Brand new for this year the Wigtown Fringe will be running alongside and complementing the Wigtown Book Festival.

The Wigtown Fringe is a collaboration between local theatre, music, artists and cinema providers in the Machars to add something extra for visitors and locals to enjoy over the 10 days of the annual Book Festival. Townsend Theatre Productions, The Bookshop Band, Driftwood Cinema and Fountain Stone Studio have brought together a programme of theatre, music, art and film to launch the Wigtown Fringe this year.
